OUR APPROACH

At NUS Public School we aim at multi-faced development of a child, his intellectual, physical, spiritual and ethical development. Today’s children are the mirror in which future of a nation is reflected. In order to preserve, maintain and advance the position of our country in the world, it is imperative that these should be a comprehensive program of value education, starting from the nursery level, embracing the entire spectrum of educational process. Therefore, our vision and mission is to impart knowledge amongst the students for the benefit of the society as a whole.

NUS Public School is from Nursery level to class VIII which will be upgraded to class XII in future and follows the curriculum laid down by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The course of studies is international in its scope and ambit and includes subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Arts and Craft, Physical Education, several languages etc.

The highlights of our educational philosophy are:we insist on individual attention, be it a small class size or individual counselling. Instead of emphasizing rote learning, we encourage debate and promote interactive learning. The socialization of the child is very important to us, which is achieved through a well conceived house system, individual counselling and healthy competition.

Academics
Education at our school is a combination of participation and interaction, which makes learning meaningful and enjoyable. Home assignments are not a carry over of class work but oriented towards enhancing individual talents. This includes suggested books for reading, physical and sports development, general knowledge, civic responsibilities, talent cultivation etc.

Faculty
Our faculty members with their diverse educational and personal background bring rich variety of knowledge and experience that contributes to global awareness and a better understanding of education. Our teachers have a commitment to students that stretches from classroom to play ground and every place in between. They are well-trained intellectual who know when to listen, when to advise and when to simply give the children time to sort through things on their own. They are Determined, Dedicated and Demonstrative.
